What is cloud computing?
Cloud computing is actually a procedure of the sharing of files, stored data and even various software’s with the help of internet to outlying and distant locations. Cloud computing is an application where System as well as the software is managed and handled by the experts in the office and the data is being processed to the remote location via internet. Mostly small and midsized companies prefer renting cloud computing application instead of purchasing new versions of it individually.
Cloud computing application is easily available to other employees at remote locations as it can be accessed via internet. Cloud computing has helped many IT companies so as to reduce their overall expenditure of establishing and managing systems and servers at every unit. They just have to purchase a software license which can be accessed from every unit via internet at the will of the employee.
Cloud computing is basically made up of many levels starting from structural level to web service computing. First is a client layer which receives the application delivery of hardware or software programs and presents it to its end users. Specially designed systems, computers and devices are manufactured to be able to operate cloud delivery.
SAAS is next layer of cloud computing where users need to install the software in their systems and it can be accessed at any location via internet. Here the cloud provider is the authorized users for management as well as updates for the application. IAAS layer permits the user to either rent or purchase cloud infrastructure as a service. Benefit of it is the users just have to pay for the service instead of the infrastructure.
The next layer is PAAS which delivers the whole process in one form. Users get SAAS as well as IAAS service to use in a single package without out the need of any external hardware or software. Server layer is the last layer which consists all hardware and software which are required to run the service.
